Study Says Fish Oil During Pregnancy Is Good For Babies, (Health.com) — Pregnant women who consume plenty of omega-3 fatty acids from supplements or natural sources such as salmon may be helping to fortify the immune system of their babies, a new study in the journal Pediatrics suggests.

Infants whose mothers took supplements containing docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA—one of the two main ingredients in fish oil—had fewer days with cold symptoms during their first six months of life than infants whose mothers received a placebo, the study found.

Newborns in the DHA group were also slightly less likely to come down with a cold in the first place.

Study Says Fish Oil During Pregnancy Is Good For Babies

Though promising, the new findings are preliminary. And the researchers say it’s too soon for doctors to advise moms-to-be to take DHA supplements as an essential part of their pregnancy diet.

“Recommending women to take a dose of up to 400 milligrams of DHA during pregnancy would be safe, [but] how much of a benefit there is we don’t know yet,” says Usha Ramakrishnan, PhD, the lead author of the study and an associate professor of global health at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, in Atlanta.

Nadya Saleman Is Warned To Provide A Guardian To Her Kids, (ANA) – Nadya Suleman, the mother of 14 children including octuplets is sued by Attorney Gloria Allred on her attempt of exploiting her children as she is going to participate in a reality show, her children are already suffering from improper care and education and now her participation in reality show will make their condition worse. Because of this reason Gloria has filed a petition in Orange County Superior Court that demands to provide a guardian to Nadia’s kids specially for infants, who will protect the rights of these infants.
Attorney Gloria Allred said, “Rather than choosing to provide her children with a normal life, their mother has chosen to commercially exploit them and it appears she plans to continue commercial exploitation of them in the future,”

Dadi ji agrees on booking a hotel for sangeet function but he gets difficulty in getting the booking of hotel. Akshara’s father helps them and find a better hotel and book it for them. Everyone says thanks to Akshara. Naitik hires a choreographer for the dance performance at sangeet. Akshara, Naitik and Rakshmi are busy in practice of dance. The choreographer tells Naitik that he is over weight thats why he is getting difficulty in dance, Akshara laughs at him.
In recent episode, Bindia’s husband “Returaj” reach at Naitik home. When they were doing dance practice, Ratiu raj also perform there, everyone praises his dance. Naitik gets little jealous when he see that Retiu raj is fit and dancing well, so he plans to loose his weight by doing dieting.
